The Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme (ACA) assesses and recognises the efforts of airports to manage and reduce their carbon emissions with four levels of award. ETSverification GmbH helps to achieve airports an environment friendly profile by verifying their GHG reduction efforts.
Shipping MRV
From 1 Jan. 2018 new regulation applies to shipping activities carried out in relation to EU ports. In order to reduce CO2 emissions from shipping, a system for monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of CO2 emissions based on the fuel consumption of ships will have to be set up for all maritime transport emissions.
